Candace LeRoy’s journey as a leader and entrepreneur began early—while still a junior at West-Oak High School in Westminster, South Carolina, she made the life-changing decision to join the Army National Guard, demonstrating a strong sense of discipline, service, and commitment that continues to define her career.

After graduating high school, she went on to earn a General Engineering Technology degree from Tri-County Technical College (TCTC). Over the past decade, her career has taken a dynamic path through engineering, construction, and small business ownership.

She began her professional career as an applications engineering assistant at a small business, then became the first female leader at Yoder’s Building Supply, where she earned Weyerhaeuser’s Top Gun Designer Award for the Southeast region. She later expanded her role into residential project management, further developing her leadership and industry expertise.

In 2020, at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Candace launched her first business, Three Broomsticks Cleaning, offering residential and commercial cleaning services throughout Oconee County. What began as a solution to meet urgent community needs quickly became a successful and trusted local brand.

Over the past year, she has focused on deepening her knowledge of the equipment industry and expanding her network to better serve her community. That growth led to her newest venture: Iron Maiden Consignment Sales, a business designed to help local equipment owners sell machinery through a full-service, professional consignment process. Located in Seneca, South Carolina, Iron Maiden offers on-lot equipment display, local buyer outreach, professional cleaning, fuel and hydraulic fluid testing, and flexible “buy here, pay here” financing options.
